Summary
A new luminescent reagent developed by Assistant Professor Katsunori Teranishi of the Mie University. It has both the molecule reacting to superoxide and the molecule receiving resultant energy and producing luminescence in one cyclodextrin molecule, and is useful in analysing superoxide anions. It has a luminescence wavelength in the long-wavelength range (530 nm), is hardly affected by other biological components during measurement, and has a sensitivity about 20 times higher than the conventional reagent that produces chemiluminescence in the long-wavelength range.
This product is for research use only. Do not administer it to human.

Green Chemiluminescent probe for superoxide anions
Green Chemiluminescent CD is a highly sensitive chemiluminescence probe, which was developed by Dr. Teranishi of Mie University, Japan. This probe reacts with superoxide anion and produces luminescence at long wavelengths. Therefore the luminescence remains nearly unaffected by biomaterials. Additionally, this probe is more sensitive than other probes which produce luminescence at long wavelengths.

Solubility
Soluble to hot methanol : H2O (1:1) containing 0.1% TFA.
